Insur2

Buying a car that is cheaper to insure could save thousands of pounds in the long term. With the rising costs of fuel, cars, accessories and all things related to driving from A to B, it is important to look for savings where you can find them. Building up a clean driving record will reduce your insurance in years to come, so save now for a brighter future.

Match Me is here to help you find the finance to buy your car and the warranty to protect your car. We can also give you some tips on choosing the cheapest car to insure so you have more money for your family, and for your future.

How much it costs to insure your car is calculated by considering many factors including the value of the car and the location where the car will be kept. The safety rating of the vehicle, the cost of repairs and the performance of the car are also considerations. Then the age and driving experience of the main drivers is brought into the equation. So much to consider when buying a car and looking for insurance quotes. So we would like to offer some cars that might help to reduce your monthly bills.

Cars that are cheap to insure are not sexy. They are practical, safe, sturdy and often used for small journeys, and stay away from motorways.  Cars that are less likely to be stolen are cheaper to insure. Cars that are cheap to repair are cheaper to insure. You might not turn heads, but you will get from A to B safely, and your insurance will not break the bank each month.

Some Cars That Are Cheap To Insure

Fords are good cars. Solid, reliable, cheap to fix, easy to drive, and common place so they don’t stand out and are not a target for car thieves. The Ford KA, Ford Fiesta and Ford Escape rate highly on the list of cars that are cheap to insure. They are comfortable, and practical, and can bring your monthly insurance costs down quickly.

Toyotas are good cars. The Rav 4, the Yaris and the Tacoma are all reliable cars that will bring down the cost of your motoring. In Insurance Group 2, the cost savings will mean that you can take your family out for some wonderful experiences, knowing that they are safe and comfortable in a car that is cheap to insure.

The Skoda Fabia and the Skoda Citigo are contenders for best cars cheap to insure. The Citigo is in Insurance group 1, the cheapest group of them all. It is small, easy to drive, great for city parking, and has excellent safety features.

The Vauxwagon Polo is a good car that ticks all the right boxes and is surprisingly cheap to insure. The basic models with the smaller engines sit in Insurance group 1, but as the engine gets bigger so does the insurance group and therefore the price. Do you need a big engine for driving at 30 mph around town? No. Could you benefit from cheaper car insurance? Yes. Weigh up the pros and cons and you will find that a Polo is a good option.

When choosing a car, consider all the factors and really think of what you need, rather than what you want. Then after years of no accidents and improving your insurance scores, go for the dream cars.

Start small and build up.
